If you have paintings to sell, we will do our best to help you.
Firstly, have a look at some of the paintings on this website: you will see that we sell representational art, and so if you are looking to sell abstract art, we are not the best fit for you. But if though you are selling something that our client base would want to see, then send us some images, and a brief description. If you can, please send us the sorts of images you see on this website: so, a picture of the painting itself, a picture of the painting with its frame, the signature, and the back of the painting. But this is only to save you time: if your technical skills don’t stretch this far, just call our phone number and tell us about what you have.
If we think we can help, we will be in touch to arrange a viewing.
If you and we are happy to proceed, there are a few things to sort out. Most importantly, this will be the price: we will tell you what we think is a fair price point, and what proportion of the net proceeds of sale each of us will receive (which will depend on how much work we have to do to sell your painting). We then take care of everything else: we will advertise your painting through our website, hang it in our gallery (or elsewhere, if we agree to take it ‘on tour’), and we will insure it for you for as long as it is with us. We will provide you with a short contract so that you have a record of having provided us with your painting, and what happens if and when it is sold.
If you have some paintings you would like us to value, use the box below to send us some images and a brief description as above. We will charge a fee for valuation; this will depend on how much work we have to do to value it, and we will discuss terms with you before starting any work on your behalf. If you then decide to sell, we can defer the valuation costs until the painting is sold.
We also undertake probate valuations; please contact us to arrange an appointment.
